About Beat Watcher

An Apple Watch heart rate alert app built by John Ganotis and published by Ganotis Holdings, Inc.

Beat Watcher showing a heart rate and threshold on Apple Watch

The person behind the app

I’m John Ganotis, the solo developer of Beat Watcher. I use the app myself. I made it to give people a straightforward way to set their own high and low heart rate thresholds on Apple Watch.

What Beat Watcher does

Beat Watcher provides haptic and audio alerts when a heart rate reading crosses a threshold you set. Background Mode keeps monitoring during an active session when your wrist is lowered or you leave the app. The iPhone companion can also provide optional Phone Alerts.

Beat Watcher is made for general wellness and heart rate awareness. It is not a medical device or an emergency response service, and it is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent a disease or condition. For medical decisions, consult a healthcare professional.
